Western Australia Regional Meeting

Quakerism suits independent thinkers. It is of Christian origin but many Quakers seek and accept enlightenment from other sources as being of equal value. There is no accepted creed. Beliefs vary among Quakers, however, they recognise that there is something of the divine in everyone and that the whole of life is sacred.

The mainly silent Meeting for Worship sustains and renews Quakers. There are no ordained ministers. All Quakers share responsibility for the Meeting.

Quakers work in a practical way to achieve peace and social justice in Australia and overseas.

There are variations within Quakerism. WARM is part of the unprogrammed tradition of Quakerism. We would like to make it clear that we don't speak for all Quakers.
