Overnight accommodation can be booked by Friends, or those with Quaker connections, at Meeting Houses in the cities listed below. Costs and arrangements vary and may be found by contacting the individual Meeting House.

The 'Australian Directory for Visiting Friends' lists homestay accommodation available for Friends within Australia. This publication costs AU$5.00 and is available from the Australia Yearly Meeting office.

Brisbane

Kelvin Grove Accomodation Brisbane Bed and breakfast accommodation is available at
10 Hampson Street, Kelvin Grove, Brisbane, at a modest tariff to travelling Friends.

The bedroom, bathroom and shared kitchen downstairs at the Meeting House in a cool rainforest setting minutes from the heart of Brisbane city.

The Meeting House is also used for meetings and other activities.

Sydney

Friends House Devonshire Street Sydney Friends House, 119 Devonshire Street, Surrey Hills, is a tranquil place in the inner city.

Less than five minutes walk from Central station, close to the business district, shops, restaurants, cafes and all forms of transport yet imbued with the calm you would expect in a heritage building that has held Meeting for Worship for over a hundred years.

Fully refurbished in 1999, there are four guest rooms available: one single, two doubles and a twin single. The modest room tariffs include a continental breakfast.

Quaker Accomodation inn Melbourne Friends House Melbourne is situated seven kilometres from the CBD at 631 Orrong Road, Toorak.

It is the home of Victoria Regional Meeting and comprises a Meeting Room, social room, extensive library, and a flat for Resident Friends. It is easily reached by frequent trains, buses and trams. The leafy suburb of Toorak has an abundance of shops, cafes and restaurants. The house is a single story villa surrounded by beautiful gardens. The house accommodates three guests in a double and single room with shared bathroom facilities. The tariff is modest and includes a simple breakfast. Three self contained studio apartments in the grounds may accommodate guests who wish to stay for a few weeks.

Quaker Accomodation in Perth Bed and breakfast accommodation is available at
Friends' House, 35 Clifton Crescent, Mt. Lawley, at a modest cost.

The Meeting House has a library, meeting room, kitchen, dining area, bathroom and one twin bedroom. There is no resident Friend at the Meeting House. Prior bookings are essential.
